You owe it to yourself to find out what Ahern has to offer!Position Details:This Nation-wide team is seeking qualified applicants for the Local #669 Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program throughout Omaha, NE. area. This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Apprentices are required to join Local #669 and complete on the job training and a 5-year correspondence course towards becoming a journeyman sprinkler fitter. Starting pay for the position is $15.66/ hour. Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, Journeymen earn over double the apprentice hourly rate!What You Need to Qualify:Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, have a valid drivers license along with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, be able to travel for the position, and pass appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing). Successful candidates must be self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast paced construction environment.
